My name is Lavinia and I’m a graphic designer with over 15 years design experience. Working predominantly in the media industry, I’ve worked on a wide array of projects including corporate design, editorial, brand identity and my design passion, bespoke invitations and hand lettering.
My formal training in design and advertising has equipped me to work in design studios on major campaigns and events including, the world’s largest fun run – The City2Surf, The Sydney Morning Herald Half marathon and Australia’s largest food festival – Good Food Month to name a few. Corporate design has taught me to work within brand guidelines, while still injecting my own creative flair all within time and budget.
After designing our own wedding suite, I realised there was a gap in the market for bespoke, personalised invitations. My designer husband and I, decided to create our own studio to fill this need. Knowing how stressful organising a wedding or event is, our clients can trust us to create a beautiful invitation suite that is uniquely their own.
I was first introduced to the world of design by my Year 2 teacher, Mrs Baxter. Her perfect hand writing and adorable daily chalk drawings urged me to develop my own creations. From her suggestion, I purchased The Lettering Book, my love for design was sealed!
When I’m not designing, you can find me working on my other childhood loves, ice skating and tap dancing.
I live and work in Sydney, Australia with my web designer husband Tom and his cat Miss P. Tom’s dream is to have a pug as our studio mascot, while I would prefer a Chow-Chow.
